MY STORY

Imagine this: It's 2024 in the heart of New York City, and I'm on the brink of turning my wildest dreams into reality. For years, I've been itching to break into the art scene, and now, thanks to the help of my cousin (who is the reason I’m an artist today) and Eric Smith, whom I met last year at ArtExpo (the owner of Redwood Art Group), my dream to exhibit has come true.

I have numerous paintings I’ve created that I can exhibit, but for this exhibit, I aim to go above and beyond.

The inspiration: It all began with a simple gift from my sister-in-law: a set of pins featuring faces of artists I idolize, like Frida Kahlo and Picasso. That got me thinking... what if these legendary artists had alter egos as rock stars? You know, like those electrifying musicians from the 80s and 90s who'd paint their faces and set stages on fire? That's the kind of vibe I aimed to capture.

But I wasn't satisfied with merely scratching the surface. I wanted to dive deeper, infusing each piece with vibrant color and dynamic energy that would captivate viewers and convey the unique essence of duality inherent in each artist's persona. So, armed with brushes and paint, I immersed myself in the creative process, working day and night from January until the end of February, fueled by passion and determination.

As ArtExpo New York approaches this April, I can hardly contain my excitement to unveil "THE ROCK STARS" series, aiming for each painting to captivate viewers, drawing them into an interactive experience that leaves them amazed. Step into a world where art and music collide in the most electrifying way.
